Drag and drop works here too.One CSV file up to 50 MB. Parsed locally; nothing is uploaded.
On treats row 1 as column names and keeps them out of the data.
Cells stay text from parse to export: a cell like =1+1 renders and exports literally, never evaluated. Rows cap at 100,000 and columns at 500 with explicit banners — never silent cuts. Everything runs in this tab.

Choose a CSV file to browse it as a table.
CSV Viewer opens a spreadsheet file as a browsable table without uploading it anywhere. It is built for the files that make a browser tab struggle: a virtualized grid draws only the rows in view, a row navigator jumps through the file, and a filter narrows it to the slice you actually need. Two limits are enforced with banners rather than silent truncation - one hundred thousand rows and five hundred columns - so a cut is never mistaken for the end of the data. Cells stay text from parse to export, which means a formula-looking value renders literally and is never evaluated. Delimiters can be auto-detected or set to comma, semicolon, tab or pipe, and the encoding can be UTF-8, Western or UTF-16, which is what makes a European export readable rather than a field of mojibake. One file per view, up to fifty megabytes. It is the tool for skimming a large export for one customer's rows, for checking a semicolon file before trusting its columns, and for pulling a filtered subset out as a smaller CSV.

How to use CSV Viewer
- Drop one CSV file and set delimiter, encoding, and header.
- Scroll, navigate, and filter the table.
- Export the filtered slice as a new CSV.
What you get
- A virtualized table of the file with a row navigator, so a large export stays scrollable.
- A filter that exports exactly the rows it shows, as raw text.
- Explicit banners at the 100,000-row and 500-column limits, rather than a silent cut.
When to use CSV Viewer
- Skim a 50 MB export for one customer's rows without opening a spreadsheet.
- Check a semicolon-delimited European CSV with the right encoding.
- Pull a filtered subset out of a large file as a smaller CSV.
- Find the one malformed row in a batch export without loading the whole file into a spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions about CSV Viewer
Does CSV Viewer run my formulas?
Never. Every cell is text from parse to export: =1+1 renders and exports literally, marked with a badge so you can see which cells look formula-like.
What happens past 100,000 rows?
The table shows the first 100,000 with a banner saying so. Filter to narrow them, or split the file and view it in parts.
Which encodings work?
UTF-8, Western Windows-1252 and ISO-8859-1, and UTF-16 LE/BE. Bytes that are invalid in the chosen encoding fail with a message suggesting another.
Is anything uploaded?
Nothing. Parsing, filtering, and export run in your browser — in a background worker when one is available — and bytes are released on clear.
