Arithmetic follows the proleptic Gregorian calendar in Universal Time (UTC), borrowing days from the exact preceding month whenever the reference day precedes the birth day, guaranteeing calendar realism across uneven month lengths and February leap years. Strict validation requires valid ISO-formatted dates, rejecting birthdates prior to the year 1900 as outside the supported boundary and barring reference dates that precede the birthdate. Leap-day births on February 29 follow standard calendar incrementation, rolling over cleanly on March 1 during common non-leap years. Operating purely in local memory with zero external requests, your private birthdates, family records, and identity milestones remain completely confidential on your device.
