Split Text into Chunks cuts a long string into fixed-size pieces measured in characters, with a visible divider between them. It is the plain-text answer to a field or an API that accepts only a limited number of characters: instead of guessing where to break, you choose a size and get an ordered set of chunks that can be copied one at a time. The cut is positional, so it can land in the middle of a word and does not try to find a sentence boundary; that behaviour is stated rather than dressed up as intelligent splitting. Code points are counted, so an emoji is one unit rather than two UTF-16 halves. The divider is a line containing three hyphens, which makes the boundaries obvious in the output without adding a setting. The result reports the chunk count. It is the tool for preparing a long message for a character-limited field, splitting a script into reviewable sections, and checking how many pieces a text will need. Because the cut is positional, two chunks copied separately may begin and end mid-word; if a reader needs complete words, use a word wrapper instead. The divider makes the boundaries explicit so a pasted chunk can be reassembled in order without guessing where it ended. A chunk that ends inside an emoji is still valid because the cut is made on code points, not UTF-16 units, so a copied chunk will not contain a broken surrogate. The count is a preview of how many fields the text will occupy. The final chunk may be shorter than the requested size.
