Cursive Text Generator replaces ordinary letters with the Mathematical Script characters in Unicode, which look like flowing handwriting when the font supports them. The letters are decorative code points rather than a calligraphy font, so the result is only as convincing as the typeface that draws it, and some apps will fall back to plain shapes or boxes. It is also not connected writing: each character is separate, so strokes do not join the way a real cursive hand would join them. The mapping has gaps. Unicode reserves several uppercase and lowercase script slots and supplies those letters from letterlike symbols, which means e, g, o and several capitals come from outside the main range; a naive offset would produce the wrong character. Digits and punctuation have no script forms and are left alone, and non-Latin scripts pass through unchanged. The output reports how many characters were mapped. Normalize Unicode Text reverses it. It is the tool for a flowing display name, a decorative heading in a plain-text field, or a script-style label for a mockup. Lowercase script has fewer gaps than uppercase, so a sentence usually looks more uniform than a capitalised heading. The output is one line of separate glyphs, not a handwriting sample; spacing between letters stays even.

How to use Cursive Text Generator

Frequently asked questions about Cursive Text Generator

Is this real cursive writing?

No. The letters are separate Unicode characters that look script-like in a supporting font. They do not join into connected handwriting.

Why are some letters drawn from symbols?

Unicode reserves several script slots and provides those letters as letterlike symbols. The generator maps the exceptions rather than using a broken offset.

Can I use it for a logo?

It is a quick decorative option for text fields, but a proper typeface gives better control over spacing, weight and print quality.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Conversion runs in your browser; nothing is sent to a server or stored.
