Result

Timezone Converter reads a date and time as wall-clock time in one IANA zone and shows the same instant in every zone you add. It uses the browser's own timezone database through Intl, so daylight-saving transitions follow the runtime's rules instead of a hard-coded table that quietly expires. The conversion is not a fixed offset: the tool first resolves the source wall time to a UTC instant, then formats that instant in each target zone, which is why a New York result changes between January and July. The table also reports each zone's offset and whether the local day moved forward or back, the detail that decides whether a meeting invitation lands on the intended date. Everything is computed locally; the page sends no date, zone or time anywhere and stores nothing after you leave.

How to use Timezone Converter

  1. Enter the date and time and choose its source timezone.
  2. Add the target timezones you want to compare.
  3. Read each local time, its UTC offset, and any day shift.

What you get

  • A row per target timezone with its local date and time.
  • The UTC offset label and a same-day, +1 or -1 indicator.
  • A copyable summary of all compared times.

When to use Timezone Converter

  • Find a meeting time that works for colleagues in three countries.
  • Check what day and hour a flight departure becomes at the destination.
  • Convert a support shift handover from one regional office to another.
  • Compare a server timestamp in UTC with a local working day.

Frequently asked questions about Timezone Converter

Does the converter handle daylight saving time?

Yes. It resolves the source time to an instant and formats that instant using the browser's IANA data, so a zone that observes DST changes offset on the correct dates.

Why can the same offset produce a different local time in summer?

The offset itself changes at a DST transition. A zone at UTC-5 in January may be UTC-4 in July, which shifts every converted time by an hour.

What happens to a time that does not exist because of a spring-forward?

Such a wall time is resolved to the nearest valid instant under the runtime's rules. Check the offset column if the result looks an hour off around a transition.

Are my dates or timezones uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in the browser and nothing is sent, logged or stored.
