Date Difference Calculator measures the exact gap between two calendar dates, expressed as total days, as weeks with a remaining-days count, and as whole calendar months. It suits people counting down to a deadline, verifying a contract's term, or working out how many days a project allowance covers. The count follows the proleptic Gregorian calendar in UTC and uses whole calendar months rather than thirty-day blocks, so 15 January to 14 February is zero months while 15 January to 15 February is one. An end date that falls before the start date is refused with a message instead of being silently reversed, and leap days are included in the total. All arithmetic runs in the browser, so sensitive dates such as departure or termination dates stay on your device. Inclusive counts, where both the opening and closing day matter, are not offered here; subtract a day when your definition includes the endpoint. Weeks arrive with leftover days rather than decimal fractions, which keeps the reckoning obvious on a calendar. Printing the interval is not offered, so copy the line you need. A count of working days is outside its scope, because public holidays differ from one country to the next. Both dates use the same calendar picker, so adjusting either one re-measures the interval at once. Whole calendar months rather than thirty-day blocks, and the arithmetic follows the proleptic Gregorian calendar in UTC, ignoring leap seconds and local zones. The output distinguishes days, weeks and whole months, and because the calendar is proleptic Gregorian in UTC, a date before the Gregorian reform is still computed by the same rules.
